I really like this book. It was extremely realistic in relation to how the people interacted with each other and their thoughts and feelings. There was great character development, especially with so many characters. '

Once or twice there a scene that didn't exactly make sense or was weak, like when they found her sister, how is she possibly the only one left alive? You mean to tell me that out of all the people in that school only one child survived? It just doesn't seem realistic.

I also think that angst ridden teen who was in different foster care home and is abused is so over done! I have read so many books like that and frankly, i'm tired of that story line. luckily that's not a big part of this book.

Overall I liked this book and I would recommend reading it. Great story line and characters.

Woah! I could not put this thing down! So many zombie books start well after an outbreak. It was really awesome to read about one from the very beginning! The characters were really great, the story as nail biting. I cannot wait to read the next one!
I got this book free and wow did I love it! I'll def be getting book 2. I instantly liked all the characters (except Lindsay). Rachel and Cage have such a deep connection I hope he is ok in book 2! Nicky made me laugh thru the whole book. Awesome story
I didn't think a zombie romance could be done. That was before I read this book. Now, I know it can't be done better than this. Fast paced and fun.
I have to say in am quite the zombie fanatic. If you have a like for anything zombie, then use recommend this author and book. I liked how the author got right into the zombie outbreak instead of taking four or five chapters just to explain the characters and setting. My only complaint is that the next two books in the series are expensive and has two hundred or less pages.
WOW!I have been waiting for Chelsea Bellingeri to release her next series. I absolutely Loved her last series The New England Witch Chronicles. And, It was SO worth the wait! Love and the Zombie Apocalypse is SOOO good! I Loved it, its such a well thought out story. You fall in Love with all the characters. I just love Rachel and Cage and Nicky is just so funny, I found myself laughing out loud. The story starts out in Flint Mi, and continues on to Ann Arbor, Mi. The journey that they go through is just breath taking. It had me scared, laughing out loud, sad, crying. It has everything you want in a good Book. I couldn't put it down. If your a fan of Zombie stories, then this is a MUST Read! I cant wait for the next in this Trilogy. Way to go Chelsea Bellingeri you've done it again!
The first two books in the Zombie apocalypse trilogy have been worth the read so far. Both books have introduced good characters with a lot of inner turmoil and conflict along with the whole survival aspect. Of course, there is the obligatory love interests and love triangles, but I do like who Bellingeri does change the POV, smoothly, throughout the books so we can get a peek into the inner workings of the group. I also like the twists and turns of the plot, and how, like The Walking Dead, Bellingei is not afraid to off a character even if we happen to like or love them. It is this type of development, along with solid writing, that will have me buying the last book in this trilogy and keeping an eye on more works from Bellingeri.
I started this book a while back and another episode in a different zombie series came out so I stopped reading and went to that one. I must have gotten into other books because it wasn't finished. I went back yesterday to finish it and am so glad I did! I flew through the first book and purchased the second book! I love Unlimited and am so thankful that authors put their books here to "borrow". Now I am getting started on the third and final book in the trilogy. Fast reading and it stays interesting! I can't wait to see where the story goes! If you like zombie books you will like this!
