This is a wonderful story for any age. It works on many different levels, with great characters, a rich setting and real human issues. An excellent classroom book, with curriculum ideas and lesson plans on her website.
A quick, enjoyable, and educational read whether or not you like bass fishing. Central Floridians will feel at home in the setting and non-Floridians will feel the ambiance surrounding Orange Lake and a slew of original characters. A great book for classroom use; comes with curriculum ideas.
